Kayak Instruction
In
my other life I am also a certified
kayak instructor. If you are thinking
about kayak instruction but not
comfortable in large classes then
private instruction is perfect for you.
I am happy to work one on one or with
couples. I can customize the class
around your needs as well as cover
safety issues, proper clothing and gear,
boat handling skills and self-rescue
techniques. Classes will be taught in a
calm environment at beautiful Devils
Lake State Park near Baraboo.
I am an ACA certified coastal kayak
instructor and have paddled Lake
Superior, Lake Michigan, and the
Northern California Coast in conditions
from calm and sunny to down-right scary.
I also teach at a variety of Symposiums
around the Mid-west as well as at
Rutabaga in Madison, WI.
